FAVR works to protect our industry and our members through state, county, and local government affairs efforts. Over 1/3 of all FAVR resources go towards protecting your interests as a vacation rental owner, manager, and industry partner.

Statewide Efforts

FAVR works with our lobbying team statewide to engage elected officials and legislative activity that directly impacts the Florida vacation rental industry. Through our legislative counsel at Capitol City Consulting, FAVR has defended your interests year after year at the Florida Statehouse and beyond.

County & City Level

Throughout Florida, over 56 cities and counties have implemented or proposed various changes to vacation rental regulations. FAVR, through its Executive Director and staff, works with local elected officials and government staff to ensure your voice is heard and your interests are protected.
