The FAVR MBA (Meaningful Business Acumen) is a professional certification program for Florida vacation rental owners and managers. FAVR worked with Valencia College and industry leaders to develop over 40 educational topics covering every aspect of vacation rental management.
Each course earns 3 or 5 credits toward your certification. A basic MBA requires 32 credits. An MBA Pro requires 60 credits. Upon completion, you receive a plaque, certificate, and e-badge to display on your website or email signature.
All courses and tests are available online through the FAVR education portal.
Prerequisites (Required)
Before earning credits, all members must complete these two required courses:
- DBPR Licensing Basics
- Human Trafficking Awareness (mandated by Florida State Law)
